Key concepts that apply across all Ottly products
Projects
Every piece of work in Ottly starts as a project. A project contains all your data, AI conversations, and outputs for a specific task. Projects are saved automatically and can be accessed from any device.
AI Assistant
Each product includes a built-in AI assistant that helps you at every step. The assistant is context-aware — it knows which product you're using, what stage you're in, and what you've done so far.
Tips for better results:
- Be specific about what you want
- Provide context and constraints
- Ask follow-up questions to refine the output
- Use the assistant for brainstorming, not just final answers
Stages
Some products (like Desk) break work into stages. Each stage focuses on a specific part of the workflow:
- You complete one stage before moving to the next
- Each stage builds on the work from previous stages
- You can always go back to revise earlier stages
- The AI assistant adapts its help to the current stage
Dashboard
Every product has a dashboard that shows your recent projects, suggested actions, and quick access to common tasks. Think of it as your home base within each product.
